 6mt goes boom!!!!! LOL carnage inside thought I would share my journey threw the times. So my luck I have had a 03 wrx 5speed never broke on me hundreds of drag passes- 05 legacy gt 5 speed never broke on me hundreds of drag passes- v7 sti 6speed granny shifting into 4th BOOM coming home from lowes. Just thought I would share the carnage.

It's true, if you make a million of a great product, one will inevitably slip through quality control with a small production flaw (who knows). It sucks, I remember one day I was driving down the street in my stage 2 06 WRX, gave it a bit of a clunky shift from 4th to 3rd at 40mph to climb a hill and all I heard when I let the clutch out was, "BANG, SNAP, RATTLE, RATTLE, RATTLE"... I stripped every single tooth off of 3rd gear. I still have that case stuffed with a set of ver. 5 STi type RA gears under my workbench, ready to go...

Re: 6mt goes boom!!!!! LOL carnage inside not quite recommending just what i did on my 5speed and 2.0L build. I dont do that on the 2.5L build and 6mt. If I were to have broke it at the track launching or banging gears then I wouldn't have been as pissed as I was lol.
